INTRODUCTION:
It is my great pleasure to inform you all that B.L.CENTRAL PUBLIC SR. SEC. SCHOOL KUNIHAR has completed 21 fruitful years with various Milestones .At the outset I thank the Almighty God for all the blessings rendered to us during these great 21 years. This journey was started by Gopal Sharma Ji in 1995 with only 3 students and 2 Staff members and now more than 700 students are getting education from 40 staff members in this institution. This School with the recognition of the Government and affiliation from HP Board Dharamshala, Stands fully prepared today to meet the challenges of the future. The Campus of School is well equipped with the all modern infrastructural facilities such as CCTV Camera, Educom Smart Classrooms ,Spacious Ventilated Class rooms with the latest teaching aids, Colour TV, DVD Players Multipurpose Examination Smart Hall with Computer projector, Library, Science Labs, Computer Labs with Internet facility, Playground,NCC, NSS rooms and Children Park also.

Principal Message
Education is not merely acquirement of facts but also of values which help us improve the different facets of mankind. It ensures that we leave the world a far better place than we found it. A pivotal role of education lies in shaping the personality of a child into a healthy mind and happy soul, who is not only equipped with 21st century skills and aptitude required for academic excellence but helping him face the challenges of life in a balanced and harmonious way. In B L Central Public School Kunihar, we enterprise to map academic excellence with a good human value system, which in myriad ways is ingrained in the culture of the school. To achieve this, we strongly feel that a paradigm shift in the minds of all stake holders should take place so that when the school becomes the hub to initiate and formalize education it has its tenets enshrined in a good value system; the extension of which is thereby taken home where it is further strengthened. (A) ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES: ( ANNUAL RESULT)
(1). Elementary Section : - * Result Nursery to 8th 100% in which 120 Students obtained A + Grade.
(2). Secondary Section: - *9th & 10th class result remained 100% . Akhilesh obtained 95.14%.
*11 students obtained more than 90% marks. Kamal Sharma obtained 90.6% in Science Stream and Shabnam obtained 88.6%.
*In 12th Class in Science Group Ananya obtained 90.6% and In commerce result remained 100% Poonam obtained 87.6%.
(3).Scholarship :- * Under Swami Vivekananda Scholarship our 11 meritorious students in Matriculation received Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand Scholarship from H.P Govt.
*Aslam received Rs 1000 Minority Scholarship , Under G.D Memorial Scholarship Rs 11000 is being given by Management to meritorious students of board classes in the memory of late Sh. Ghanshyam Dass .
*Ajira Pankaj and Shubham received Rs 80000 scholarship each from HP Board per year for 4 years.
*40 students got merit certificate from HP Board and 14 students received Rajiv Gandhi Digital Laptop from H.P. Government presented by Sh. Jeevan Sharma Deputy Director Higher Education Solan .
(B) CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES(1) NCC:- * 25 cadets participated in state level CATC Camp at JNV Kunihar and got A certificate from IHP BN NCC Solan . 07 NCCcadets obtained Sahara Scholarship of Rs 42000.*Two students Saloni and Abhay participated State Level NCC badminton Championship Held at Chandigarh. Ishan and Akhilesh Gaur participated in Pre RD NCC Camp held at Solan.*Five NCC Girls Cadets participated at National Level Trekking Camp at Syri Mamligh ,Arki and Shimla.
(2) SCOUTS AND GUIDES ACTIVITIES:- * 8 Scouts & Guides participated in Tritya Sopan Training & Testing Camp at Tara Devi Shimla.
* 14 Cubs & Bulbuls ,12 Scouts & Guides participated in State Level Flag day at Shimla on 07th November,2015 and 8 Scouts participated at Distt camp SVN Nalwa Kasauli .
(3) CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS:- * Ritika,Shalini and Divya participated in state level held at GSSS Rampur Bushar. Ritika Kashyap also participated in National level CSC held at Mohali Chandigarh.
(4) ECO CLUB:- *Our school’s Lion Eco Club is selected for 12000 Science project by Science and Technology.
(5) SPORTS COMPETITION: * Schoos remained over all Winner in Badminton and also remained over all winner in athletics at GSSS Mamligh. *Anjali, Aayushi, Deepti and Ankush participated in State Level events of badminton and Athletics at karsog and Kangra . * 20 students participated in the block level Pykka tournament held at GSSS Kunihar and remained over all winner of badminton.
(6) ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2015:* 20th Annual Sports Meet organized at School ground in which Nazma among girls and Akhil among boys declared Best Athlete *Parul Raj participated in state level in painting competition and Shivani , Tanya selected for national Level painting and Essay Competition.
(7) GIS SCHEME:*GIS Scheme has been introduced in the School since 2010 for the all students & Staff members.
(8) SELECTION OF EX-STUDENTS*Our School’s some students have been selected in different fields i.e.Engineer,Doctor,Navy,Army,Air force etc.
(9) ADSAT COMPETITION:- *130 students have participated in the examination.and 15 students got Gold Medals
(10) FIELD TRIPS:*School organizes Field Trip for students to collect necessary information from Post Office, office of Agriculture and Divisional Forest office Kunihar all bank at Kunihar.
(11) SCHOOL MAGAZINE :- *Every year our school publishes Magazine “PRERNA”.
(12) NSS TROOP :* Akhil Parihar and Kunika participated at Youth Leader ship camp at GSSS Baychari Distt Shimla, *Akhil Parihar Participated in RD Prade of Himachal Pradesh Shimla on 26th Jan, 2016 and National Level youth leadership Camp at Raipur Chhattisgarh in January,2016.. Last year Parul had participated in RD Parade of Himachal Pradesh Shimla on 26th Jan, 2015.
(13) PTA MEETING:- * PTA Meeting is being organized after three month in which all parents & teachers participate & discuss important points regarding study & development of school.
(14) RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES FOR TEACHERS; *Teachers of almost all the subjects, besides the school’s attended various workshops & Seminars Conducted by School authority by inviting experts and Resource Persons to train the Teachers by Modern Technique in the field of Education.
(15) EDUCATIONAL TOUR :- *School has been organized 3 days educational tour at Golden Temple Amritsar, Jaliyanwala Baag, Bagha Border, Kapurthala Science City with 3 star Hotel facility.
(16) CCTV CAMARAS , SMS FACILITES & EDUCOM SMARTCLASS ROOMS :- *School has the facility of SMS alert scheme, Educom Smart classrooms and CCTV Cameras in class rooms
(17) LAB FACILITIES:- *School have all labs facilities like as .Physics Lab,Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab.,Compuer Science Labs Multipurpose Smart Hall.
(18) FUTURE PLAN: (1) In Future a Residential CBSE Pattern based school in Surroundings Kunihar with willingness of Parents .(2) 21th Annual Function will be divided into Two Stages 21stAnnual Function will be celebrated on 14th November,2016 and 21st Annual Prize Distribution Function will be celebrated in the Month of December,2016.
